Abstract

This article presents methods for combining fatigue data and unit loads to be applied for fatigue analysis within open-source FEM codes. Example results from literature are close to the results obtained with the present methods. Accordingly, open-source tools can be considered as a viable option for multi-axial fatigue analysis.
